Poor paint transitions require costly rework, slowing cycle times and draining productivity. Today, both customers and insurance companies are increasingly focused on quality workmanship. One of the key indicators of a high-quality paint job is the absence of hard paint lines in jambs. Until now, eliminating hard paintlines has often required re-shooting, sanding, buffing or other time consuming rework—all of which drain shop productivity and increase cycle time.
